George do the top platers work alone over there or do farriers work in groups?
What do you mean by kindergardenish George
was ita 2 lb or 2 1/2 lb turning hammer he nearly hit the leg with
maybe he had an off day george
i have used coopers but not 1 5/8
you can get away with murder over here it has got a bit tuffer over here in the last few years 1/4" caulk
[ATTACH] Sometimes we have to put a caulk on the alies

5/8 x 1/4 concave
i would also like 1 5/8 plating nail (mustad)
George i would only use 1/2x 1/4 on yearlings with very smal feet 4" or smaller i find 5/8 works better for me as 1/2" isa bit stringy
what are you making them from George 5/8 x 1/4, 5/8 x 5/16
remember those french plates were they narrowed at the heels:eek: victory are nice enough to put on
I dident think Linda was an Apprentice why do you say this
whats that all about shoeing the race horse?
i think it might be a bit longer than that
[ATTACH] i think the lenth and width are very important
I have said before that i have used egg-bars on different horses for a long time with good results
Kim i think Jaye and myself put up some pics on horseshoes.com some time back on clenching. if you can track that down it might help you clenching...
