We celebrated tonight by making a couple of hot fitting tongs out of some broken GE clinchers.
Ray I'm off to buy him dinner and a beer, one will be from you :)
Congratulation to my son Alex on passing his finall exams this week.
That sounds like a plan.
I would ask whoever took the films. I can't say..
I look down all feet Rick, if I'm not happy with the view first time on all feet I change the order I do the trim.. It's a bit OCD
Let me know how it goes..
It needs the trimmer to reconsider what he has done... If he looks at the X-ray, and his trim he should conclude the foot is unlevel. It's a start,...
Rick I vary where I start the trim with the cutters, heels, toe, quarters it helps me stop putting the same faults in feet.
Left fore looks high outside... In X-ray 8 the left heel looks longer than the right relative to P3, in my experience that would make it off on the...
Next time I recon!!!!!
Had another lame one, me!!!!!!! Got kicked by a shiverer!!!!!!!!
18 Ray? I'd need to stand outside the stable with the horse still in there to use them... I use 12 inch because they were cheaper..
Helps me get higher nails back in line.... Ray are they appreciating or depreciating?

I have learned something... I will make a shoe next week and drill the nails holes and report back... I may well drill it on the straight bar for...
Some of the nail holes that appear in machine made shoes, round ones would be a closer fit.. At least the nail would be held at 4 points....
It's there complete lack of ability to handle the tools that I hate...... Oh and the complete lack of understanding of all things hoof related..
The crack in the quarter is quite superficial, not to dismiss it but regular trimming should keep the foot tight and prevent winging that looks like...
Gents I have deleted a couple of posts, they were light hearted but probably a bit over the top :) with me being guilty as well...
